I recently installed a wireless router at my house but it uses DHCP instead of static IP. Now I can't get my TS server to run at all because it only kicks in my internal IP not my external one.
Can someone tell me how to resolve this?
Thanks!
1) read the FAQ, there's a thread dealign with this (external IP detection)
2) you should be able, by reading your router manual to disable the DHCP function or set at least a static IP on your TS Server
3) WHY do you post in the TS1 section, do you still use TS1 ?

Oh, didn't realize this was TS1 section, very sorry! I have TS2. Thank you for your reply I will check the FAQ section!

The problem with DHCP is that your TS Server computer might not always get the same IP address. Port forwardings on the other hand are static so you have to manually update them.
If you have only a handful of computers in your LAN it's better to not use DHCP at all and instead allocate IP addresses manually.
