Problem!!! When I started TS , I can't speak in HL.

win 2 k will only allow 1 applacation to access a sound card at a tine , so as b stated you will have to do as i did install a sound card for your os and games to use and use the onbaoad for teamspeak

Having two applications use the sound card for recording sometimes works and sometimes don't. It's highly dependent on the OS (and what service pack is installed), the sound card, its drivers and probably the applications involved too.

The easiest and quickest way would be using two sound cards (or onboard sound and a sound card). You connect your headset to one and your speakers and another microphone to the other.
You then use the sound card with the speakers and the microphone as preferred device and the sound card with the headset for Teamspeak.
This gives you another advantage: Game sounds and your team mates talking are independent of each other and you can change the volume independently too. It is also much easier to understand what someone is saying if you don't have machine gun fire and explosions coming out of the same headphones.
