I have the server installed on a machine on my LAN. I configured all the oprt forwarding, etc. It works on the internet perfectly.

However, I cannot connect to the TS Server from a PC on the same LAN correctly. I can hear everyone but cannot be heard. I have tried everything. It must be a protocol issue. I have went through the configuration of my sound card, tested the mic, etc. I have even tried two differnt PCs with two different soundcards. It must be a setting in windows or the server.

Please help. :)

- can you record in the win wave recorder ?
- does the locale loopback mode test on TS works ?
- you connect locally by using the LAN IP and NOT the WAN IP ?

=> if not, check your sound mixer settings

Yes I can record in win wave recorder.

What is a locale loopback?

I can connect local and global from my machine

no problems with the sound mixer settings.

It has to be a TS problem.

the locale loopback mode is a test mode included in the TS client (check through your client menus). As soon as you activate it you can test recording in TS with the selected codec.

- test that
- try wave / direct sound in TS

With all due respect, I am not a newb. I have looked through every thread already and I have seen this thread at least 10 different times. I do not have a problem with my sound card settings.

@guldi
I will try this later today when I get back home. Thanks for the suggestion.

I have a D-link 4100 and I just update to the latest version to try and fix it.

Both of these machines work on OTHER TS Servers without any configuration to the sound. It has to be a server and/or protocol issue. I will post when I figure it out.
