Error Message, Mic doesnt work

My Mic works just fine in other programs, but when i start TS i get:

TDSoundOut.Open(DirectSoundCreate): No sound driver is available for use.

And my mic gets muted when i join a server...does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you.

switch from wave to direct sound or vise a versa in ts settings tab / options
