View Full Version : Login/Pass Issue w/ second server

Okay, so I just fired up a second server and gave it a gamut of logins/passwords, however whenever I try to connect to the server via client it gives me a Bad Login (name and/or password wrong) error.
Ive gone in and verified that the server is started. I've made sure my login/passwords were all correct. I'm connecting to the proper server. Nothing is working.
The first server still works just fine, though. No problem connecting to that at all.

Can anyone help me with this?

which port did you start the second virtual server on and how do you try to connect with your client? (what's the server address field's value?)

I put the second server on UDP port 8742, and mapped the virtual server accordingly. I'm connecting with the client to [IP#]:8742 I can connect, it just gives me a bad pass.
I suspect that I might not have an outbound port for 8742 set properly. Would that cause this problem?

I am having the same problems with my 2nd server. I can add a user through the webinterface, through self-registering, or by directly editing the database. But no matter what, I cannot login to the server with those accounts. I get the "Bad Login" error.

Anonymous users can login fine.

I can login to my other server just fine as well, with any account.

Anyone found a solution to this?

I fixed my problem by rebooting the entire server. Not sure why, but it seemed to take after that.
