I am really frustrated, I can't be this dumb but it seems so. I have read all the threads about banners and I still can't get mine to show up on either my local PC or on any of my guildmates clients connect to my pc over the internet.

They can use the clients just fine of course for talking.

I have tried it with both http://www.callsbm.com and as above and it still doesn't show. THe file is a .jpg 300 wide by 150 high and can be seen by typing in either URL in a browser. I have never had a banner on my system before so it shouldn't be an issue of old picture vs. new picture either. Does the picture have to be at the root level of a web site to show up or can it be in a subdirectory like above?

Please help, I don't know what to check next. Oh and We are all using the latest downloads since we just started Teamspeak 2 days ago and love it, it works great.

http://callsbm.com/images/bro1.jpg is not available to me... that's your problem
the ts-client just tries to load the image from the url you provide, so if it's not there, the ts-client can't load it.

When I originally posted that, the image was in that location, I then tried moving it on the web server of my company to the root level, that didn't work either, I tried a smaller size, I lower the image quality to make the file size smaller, I have since put it in both locations on my company web server

ANY ONE of those will get you to the image from any web browser, yet none work in any clients display. All the users in my guild just started using this when I set it up, (about 15 of us) this week, so we are all using the same software, latest version from the goteamspeak web site. NOTHING WORKS, I read lots of posts of people having the same problem and all anyone does is point back to the same little bit of instructions that obviously only works under certain conditions.

I have asked people that have it working to post their server.ini so maybe the rest of us idiots that can't get it to work can figure it out....no posts yet showing a working sample. I am sorry if I am posting in several places trying to get an answer to a question that isn't working correctly, but saying 1+1=3 over and over again isn't making it any more right....if the file needs to be a smaller size then 50k, 40k, 30k, 20k let us know, if saving the file in Photoshop 7 doesn't work, let us know, please something

It was the file size, it would NOT work as a 55k jpg but I set the quality down and made it a 34k file and now it works. So I am not sure what the trigger point is between works and doesn't but perhaps someone can test and see so that more people can get it to work the first time :)

And no, I didn't have to change anything on my server other then the size of the file.
