View Full Version : Cant login to admin panel
Ive got my server up and running, I know because I have been using it. However I am not able to connect to the admin panel. If i load the login.html file from the http directory, it gives me an error "login.tscmd not found" And if i try to go in from http://localhost:14534, it just hangs there indefinatly and never loads the login panel or anything. Any clues as to why this is? Im running on gentoo linux with a 2.6.10 kernel.
use the. http://localhost:14534 and make sure you have no popup blocker, cookie blocker in your browser and in ANY firewall tool, antispy tool,... activated. In most case such tools prevent the successfull connection to the webinterface (and sometimes they are hidden in such tools, so check carefully).
Of course the webinterface port must not be blocked.
I am having the same issue even from the console running lynx to http://localhost:14534.

I´m having the exact same problem on my Linux Fedora Core 11. Teamspeak itself runs fine when installed for the first time. I can connect without any problems with a Teamspeak Client. However as the guy above also said, when trying to gain access through the Admin Page, as soon as I click Login after putting in the Login data, it hangs indefinately and I don´t get a response.
I have no clue why. I tried everything. Reinstalling TS by deleting everyting and downloading the newest package including the updated server binary 2.0.24.1. It still doesn´t help.
Is it possible that Teamspeak is not compatible anymore to modern Linux Distributions? Something must be faulty with the TS binary for sure! Probably a Library problem or so?
I would like to support you guys with a Debug Output but unfortunately the TS server doesn´t have any or not that what is needed to trace down the problem.
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you!

A friend of mine (i have no evidence unfortunately) said, that newer Linux Distributions have changed something on libraries and Kernels which makes this old Teamspeak software not fully functional. You can use the software with default settings but the Admin Area is not working anymore.
On my Fedora Core 11 TS2 will not work anymore. However on a FC10 it works like a charm. I don´t know the overall changes but i´m guessing it has something to do with Kernel and Libraries that probably have changed completely in FC11 over FC10.
Right now i´m using a TS2 Webadmin PHP software which is also not perfect but does the work you want to do normally with the original TS2 backend. I´m also sure that the Developers will not patch TS2 anymore as TS3 has been announced already so my hope lies on the new software to be better. Else there is Mumble :)
