A couple of months back when TS2 came out I tried to set a TS2 server up. The server ran on a OC3, I thought I set everything up for optimum sound quality, but wasn't real sure. I set the server up an gave everyone the IP. First thing that was said when every joined was that we all sound like 60's robots. heh Followed by someone signing 'Mr Roboto'.
We currently use Battle Comm's which as you now was sold to MS. At this point since there is no updates for BC, I was looking to change to another voice program. As old as BC is, it's still sounds good. The quality is much like a cell phone, delay is not bad either.
Anyway is there any documentation on how to configure the TS2 server and client for optimum sound quality? There was nothing when I first tried TS2. Something like what I made for BC
BC set up (http://home.gci.net/~iceman/BC/)
Keep in mind most people know zip about codecs, like myself.
