Ok.
Im running windows TS2 Server on Winxp pro with SP2
I have cable internet and a dynamic ip behind a D-Link Wireless Router.
I can connect with my ip + so can others.
Now, Since its dynamic and this is for my clan heres my problem.
ts.mydom.com > myname.dyndns.org > my router > my computer
(was done with CNAME from my host)
I connect just fine with ts.mydom.com
I connect just fine with myname.dyndns.org
Everyone connects ok with my dynamic ip
No one can connect with myname.dyndns.org OR ts.mydom.com
Obviously no one can connect with ts.mydom.com if they cant connect with myname.dyndns.org cuz thats where its pointed.
Trying to figure this out I start/run/command ping ts.mydom.com
The ip it shows me is my computers, not my dynamic. Im not sure whats really going on though since im doing this all from the host computer.
I checked my myname.dyndns.org and it shows my dynamic ip
my router even updates to it which is awesome.
but still no avil
