Web Server List "Error getting list"

Hi All .... just a quick question.

When I try to update the Web Server List I keep getting the message "Error getting list? I've tried several times, and each time the same message just won't update! :rolleyes:

I am able to connect through LocalAddressbook, that's fine. But I'm not able to find my servers with the Web Server List??? :confused:

If other Squad members wish to find my servers through the Web Server List I presume they also unable to update as well? :(

I wonder why we have written a FAQ thread about this and poeple still post questions as if they haven't read anything => lazy ass :confused:

- you still can give your friends the WAN IP as long as the webserver list isn't available
- you could also read the FAQ thread about dynDNS which may be an elegant solution around this problem

Pls notice that this error is 99.999% a problem on the master server generating this list (The server at goteamspeak.com which is hosting this list is down or not reacheable,...). In most cases this is not a client side problem so you can usually do nothing about it apart from waiting.

Hey John, I am having same problem as you, and I have been a long time user of TS and never had this problem before, so you’re not alone in your frustration.

Wow, and this software sure has a very helpful and courteous support staff.


I think I would prefer to be a "Lazy Ass" than a inconsiderate smartass with an attitude. Have you ever considered that just maybe people have looked for the answer before coming here for help? and just maybe were unable to find the answer and that’s why they are here asking oh Great and Powerful Team Speak God?

Pls notice that this error is 99.999% a problem on the master server generating this list (The server at goteamspeak.com which is hosting this list is down or not reacheable,...). In most cases this is not a client side problem so you can usually do nothing about it apart from waiting.

So pls do not spam the forum with "I can't get the server list",.... (we might deleted such threads without notice) ! Have patience and wait a few hours, days,... the people at TS do their best to bring up the server list as soon as possible but be aware that this service can not be guarateed !

BTW: You can copy Servers from the Weblist to your local adressbook by clicking on the Button "Copy to local Adressbook" located in the down right corner.

what the forums needs is for the "too few" moderators to go thru the forums and delete all the bs post and posts with no correct answers in them so people can do a forum search and actually find what there looking for and not 100;s of junk posts in the finding , after reading 20 post with no correct response , or no reply to the fix I would stop reading and post a new post too
