Hi Guys,

Just looking for a little help with the CELP codec's.

I have a fresh install of Win 2000 which doesn't have the CELP codec's installed. On install of teamspeak the codec's needed are not installed and the following message comes up.

OS type: Windows NT 5.0 (Windows 2000) Service Pack 4
Found CELP file entry.
Found CELP desc entry.
CELP file found.
INstallation successful
No New Codecs were installed.

HOwever when attempting to load Teamspeak 2 I get the following error.

WaveInOpen Attempted to Open with an unsupported waveform-audio format.

Obviously as the error message indicates I am unable to hear or send any sound.

I have made sure that I have the latest download. Ts2_client_RC2_2032. and in addition to this I have attempted to search the net to find a stand a lone install of the CELP codec however I have not had much success with this.

I am not sure how it is detecting that the CELP codec are installed but if there is a way for this to be removed to allow the codec's to install it may solve the problem.

Currently the system I have is
OS: Win 2000 service pack 4
CPU: AMD 64 FX 55
SOund: Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit Driver 5.12.1.353

Driver File P17.sys

Name Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit
Vendor ID 0x1102
Device ID 0x0007

Thanks in advance for any help as it is greatly appreciated.
