I read the many Mac threads on the forum and would simply like to revist the question on a possible Mac client version? Any new information? A possible release date maybe? :)

=> CLOSED thread (as there are allready WAYS TOO MANY such threads).

It's posted many times that TS3 will be released at the same time for MAC, Linux, Win.
It's scheduled for somewhere around the end of this year (it's done when it's done !)
