if i want to make more than one teamspeak server, what are some other ports i can use besides 8767?

you could try 8766 or 8768 or even 8765 or why not 8769, and what about 8764, oh and 8770 would be nice as well and don't forget 8763 and if we're that far away from 8767 why not use the lovely 8771......

unless the port is not used by an other app. you're free to use it. You def. should read a book about TCP/IP and services !!!!

We have used everything from 8767 up to 9999 successfully.

What guldi said is totally in order, a book on networking would have contained the answer. Running a server not knowing what a port is, is like driving a car without knowing what gears are. Oh and the 8771 is lovely, how can you dispute that?

You might take a look at the used common ports, to find available others:

OK, so he could have read ten books on ports and done searches instead of posting his question. So what's the big deal? Are you going to die if he posts a question? If you do not have any positive input, then move on, don't post anything. The guy may be new, and he wants to learn through the forum. I amd many others will be happy to help without being an ass hole about it. If you have a problem with him asking a question in the forums, then do not respond, It's that simple! :cool:
