Mic Works,barely.

I just got a new headset (phones and mic) and when i try to use it in teamspeak,people can hear me,but barely. I have all the mic settings maxed out (even turned on mic boost) but it is still ridiculously quiet.

does your headset have second vol control on the wire ?

I had the exact same problem with my voice being too quiet, even on loopback, even though boost was enabled and it turned out to be my microphone "record" volume setting in windows. Check out this link which helped me solve the issue:
