Hello,
I am currently renting a TS server and am having problems with it locking up. We are hosting 70+ players (and want to do more).
Is there anyone out there running more then 70 users at a time or are we the only ones?
Thanks,
HellMutt

To how many users is the server limited?

We have tried different levels.
It has locked at:
34 players with an 80 limit
71 players with an 80 limit
54 players with a 70 limit
35 players with a 50 limit
We think it might be a client issue and are trying to get the logs from some clients and the server from the host.
I use Hellmutt's server as a main.
I would like to have 2 other known good servers listed to switch to.
If I have another server entered into the 'Local Addressbook', keying my mic broadcasts pure static, regardless of codec or recording method used. I can hear fine. If I 'delete' the other servers entered, my client works fine. I can use either of the other 2 servers with no problems, but can't use any server if others are listed in the addressbook.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

I have set the limit to 150 on mine and had 70+ last night ( or was it the night before ? ) and there was no problem whatsoever apart from the usual ppl timing out ( no slag here Nils ! ;) ).
Machine is running rock solid now . It is a dedicated Server so I dunno if that makes a difference

Win2K Server

I am wondering if with 70ppl the line would have been stuffed and therefore the load was too high ? Just a thought
