connection trouble

I've had people tell me that they cannot connect to my server. I just made it, made channels, and it's ready but no one but me can get on. why?

hosted by me, I use a router and firewall, OS? sry I'm new.

is ts allowed to bypass the firewall ?
did you set port fowarding in your router ? potr 8767 udp is the default port needeed , see sig for more help with routers

Yes my fw allows ts
yes router is set
OS is Windows Xp
If it's set on LAN how do I set it to WAN?

you use lan others use wan , hand out ip from www.whatismyip.com to others , if your firewall is set correctly aswell as the port fowarding your set , also make sure your router don'e have a firewall too boot
