TS conflicting while in game...

My TS conflict with something in my Counter Strike:source game...while im at the start menu or between maps I can hear fine, everyone can hear me fine...however while connected to the server, I can hear no one...but they can hear me...then it give me an error that my connection has been terminated...help!!!!!

are you using the built in ingame chat & ts same time ?
whats your internet connection ? dsl , cable - and whats your upload and download speeds

yes the ingame is being used at the same time...however, previously it was being used too...then when i switched from laptop to desktop, TS wont work while i am connected to a server.
