Hi,

We already sent you several mails with all the informations you would
need about many unauthorized commercial hoster : you never answered.
We were the first frenchies appearing on the authorized hosters page, we
paid our invoices in time during months, what advantages did we get
against those that didn't request for this licence ? Nothing, they still
offer 100 slots Free teamspeak server bundled with a gameserver or rent
1000 slots TS2 for 10 € / month.

We'll pay for the licence, no problems, but only if you take concrete
actions against the *real* unauthorized hosters : those that do not even
know they have to pay to be allowed to rent teamspeak servers or those
that considers they do not need it, as you won't take any action against
them, we'll not pay for nothing.

It´s not TS-Sales job to investigate every mail they get about potencial illegal activity.

Moreover, some hosters appear to be unauthorized, but they are definitly not, cause not every hoster is listed at sales/TS or act as subcompanies.

As TS-sales is tracking illegal hosting by ip and slot amount, every ATHP has to pay for licence, otherwise they are blacklisted.
Because there are unauthorized hosters, doesn´t mean others haven´t got to pay for their buissiness affairs.

If you don´t like to pay for licence, where´s the difference between your and the other unauthorized hosters?

As TS-sales is tracking illegal hosting by ip and slot amount, every ATHP has to pay for licence, otherwise they are blacklisted.I'm sorry for you, if you believe it. We are also reporting illegal hosters to teamspeak since more than one and a half year, but there happend nothing.
If you don´t like to pay for licence, where´s the difference between your and the other unauthorized hosters?Can you tell me the difference between an athp and a illegal hoster? i can. The athp spends a lot of money every month for beeing listet on the athp list and nothing more.

TeamSpeak Sales receives every month thousands of dollars, but what are they doing for this money? Nothing we can see. There are still no illegal hosters taken to the blacklist. The Teamspeak Anti-Piracy Initiative has been startet nearly two months ago, but there happend nothing. How long do they want to wait? months? An athp got only 10 days time to pay before they will be added to the blacklist. by receiving the "first warning notice" they have been taken of the athp list. That's business.

Perhaps they should think about some other ways to handle their clients (ahtp).

Do you buy a licence to host a server or for tracking potencial illegal ones?
Are you informed about TS-sales activity? I think you´re not. Cause it´s their buissiness.
Do they announce decisions of blacklisted servers to the public? No, couse it´s against destinctive laws of different countries to hold hosters at the pillory.

Do you find it easy to proof illegal hosting? Think of the costs for lawyers, what´s the gain of a trial in a distant country? 1000 coustomers for a few hosters.

Just shutting down suspect servers would harm the reputation of Teamspeak, and they would be slaves of ATHPs. Even when the got the right to have their claim protected.

Maybe it´s annoying you to pay whilst others don´t, even because they don´t deal with commercial interests.

Allthoug the situation isn´t quite pleasant for some ATHPs, what bugs the elephant a gnat?

fyi i have sent a few e-mail to sale@teamspeak.com and have resived a reply back , the system sends you a auto reply with a link in it and to finish sending the e-mail you HAVE TO CLICK that link it makes there e-mail spam proof or a pain in the ass to those that don't catch the return e-mail or it gets deleated from the junk folder ?

as i have turned in a few illeagel hosters and have gone back and checked if there up and running , and not only was there web site locked all there teamspeaks were gone as well , and the real funny thing was that there were a few posts asking WTF were my teamspeak go i was with so & so company and i went to log in and there not there and i cant log into the web site either :p
