Hi! I've downloaded TeamSpeak. I've logged in the chat area. I've keyed what I needed to so I can speak. They can hear me, but I cannot hear them.

Here's where it gets interesting :P I tried it with yahoo ONCE. I could hear the person *on teamspeak* when I had them in the Yahoo chat (I was not hearing them through yahoo, but teamspeak). When I closed out of Yahoo, I could no longer hear them. I can't duplicate this, either.

We've checked the router and made sure the ports are all open, that need to be. We've disabled the firewall, to see if that was the problem.

It's not a problem with my speakers, because I can hear through Yahoo's voice chat, but not TeamSpeak.

Has anyone experienced this problem before? Can someone help us out :)

Thanks!

interesting, sounds as if yahoo changes the sound settings when it's active. This behavior of some very UGLY progs is well known, but usually they turn off the recording.
- Can you verifiy this on your PC: do the sound mixer settings change when you use the yahoo messenger ?

- Tested wave or direct sound in TS ?

Hi, Guldi! Thanks for the reply :)

I've checked the settings. The record ones were muted. But other than that, they're fine.

I did try it in both wave and direct. But, neither works :(
