View Full Version : TS behind ISA 2004 firewall
Hi, is there someone who haves TS2 working behind ISA Server 2004.
I've tried to search all the forums, and newsgroups but can't find anything about this issue with ISA.
Internal is working fine. External doesn't work. All ports opened. Fom UDP to TCP everything but still no reply from external.
Please could someone help me out.
Kind regards,
John
It's working!!
This had nothing to do with my ISA Configurating.
You have to set the server.ini file from TeamSpeak the BoundToIp1 on which IP the TS haves to listen. For me this was my internal IP.
Set this key to something like: BoundToIp1=192.168.99.x (your internal IP if ya have 2 or more network interface cards in it)
When someone have some trouble with ISA 2004 just PM me..
Greetings!!!
the boundtoip= is for use when you have more then i nic card to lock ts to that 1 ip . with ts locked to a ip , it also helps with port fowarding as well the lan ip will not change for ts eather
Well m&m's TeamSpeak isn't running anymore.
Rebooted my server. No changes made to the config. Started TeamSpeak Server again but no response!!
All is set right..
What could this be???
any firewall on that server or built in a router that dose not have ts allowed thru yet ? as in more then 1
Hmm, no... Only ISA is fuctional as a firewall.. My router is bridged so all trafic is passed to my WAN NIC in my Server.
Can this have something to do with TeamSpeak it self?? Maby a bug that he not binds to the right NIC? But why had I it to work. Nothing was changed. That's strange...
Discuss your problem with some ISA 2004 experts in the Microsoft Knowlegde Base or the Newsgroups.

Well, It works again.
It had something to do with my ISA Server Config. You not only need to publish a server but you also have to make a publish rule.
Now I'm glad :p
Thnx for any help guys!

I've got zero problems with my ISA 2004 environment (enterprise).
It works quite nicely to pursuade evil doers on my network not to make me mad. :)
