I installed teamspeak server a while ago and didn't really pay attention to the install (my bad!), and now I cannot administrate my own server, as I don't have the original user/pass.

Do I have to reinstall or is there another way to access the admin options? All I use it for is for private chat when in FPS games with friends (max of like 5 people on it).

We do need access to our own server, some chinese dude logged in to our server for a while and we couldnt do anything :)

Take a look at your server.log file. YouŽll find the login name and PW in line 14!

Just in case you changed your passwords, you will find them in the "server.dbs" file, as the server.log only contains the passwords that were created when the server was startet the first time.

To find them, you will have to open this file in a text editor like wordpad. You should know your login-name which is "admin" or "superadmin" by default. Use the integrated search function (CTRL + F) to search the login-name and you will find your password right behind the login-name.

Make sure you don't modify this file in any way, cause that could destroy the servers database. If you are beeing asked to save changes to this file, answer with "NO".
