Ok I set the TS server up by connecting to it myself, and only people in my family on the same router can connect. I have tried to use myip.com or whatever, I got my IP and sent it to my friend and he couldn't connect. The only IP when I right click on my TS Server Icon is :192.168.0.105:8767.
Gawd why dont you guys make this EASY
It's not a problem with TeamSpeak but with your router. If you had read the documentation, you would know that you have to setup your router for server hosting.
You can't complain about things beeing "not easy" when you don't even read manuals.

I have read all the manules and the only thing that came with my router was a little flash card telling you how to install it... its a D-Link 4 port /wireless.
if you know how to connect to your router do that and find what dns server it is connected to then have your friends connect to that ip and they should be able to connect to your TS server
The FAQ thread "no reply" (which is the error your friends most surely got  ) deals with this problem. And yes, it is simply a router ONLY problem you have to deal when setting up a server, independat which server (TS, game, apache,...). Since port forwarding is configured on "each" router diff. we will certainly NOT start to discuss here router configs as this would be endless and other places have already started with this.
1) read the router manual (if there isn't one, complaint where you bought it or do a google research, many manuals are online available)
2) chek a real router forum (www.broadbandreports.com)
sry, YOU wanne play with a server, that "game" requires a little bit more knowledge and has nothing to do with "we wanne make it hard for useres...."
If this goes beyond your knowledge, feel free to pay a little amount and rent a TS server.
