setting up ts2?

Ok well my servers good and everything i have all my settings and set up my channels, etc. Ok so I'm having trouble with getting other people to join, I can only join (and I join from my internal IP by the way) and no one can get in from it. I'm new to getting people to join and stuff so how does this work?

are you handing out your real ip ? www.whatismyip.com will tell you if you don't know it

firewall ? need to allow ts in it

router ? if so you need to set up port fowarding
