View Full Version : Saving Local Addressbook
Hey all,
Just about to reformat, is there a way I can save my local address book.
Like get a file from the teamspeak directory and just copy it into the same place when I finish reformatting ??
Search for the hidden system file called "TeamSpeak.conf". This is the file you are looking for. And this has been answered....let me guess.......273645871976547653764476437544 times in this forum.

it's created the first time you start the client and it is hidden so make sure you enable to search for hidden files as well !

aha found it - very interesting. funny if so many people ask this question why is the answer not so readily found?
here is where it is on xp:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\teamspeak2
thx for the search tip and hope this helps others. this is exactly where i found it.

1) Yes, that surprises me too. Why do sooo many people use TS (and a lot of them uses the server as well) but they have not the smallest idea how to use even the most basic functiosn of their OS => the search function
that's somehow distressing
2) the fact is that the answer has bee given MANY MANY teems, however people still are not embarassed to open new threads which meaks it diff. for others to find the "good" threads. Espeically people like poncho: "I'm too lazzy to do a search..." how we love them
We might think about a FAQ thread, however I stil lfeel that peopel using such SW should be able to handle the OS search function on their own.
If we start to explain such basics, we might soon have to describe how to start up a PC...
