My friend has Windows 98 SE and a DSL modem / router that he uses when he's trying to connect to TS. I'd give more description on the hardware but i don't think it's too important considering the situation..which is, he can only connect to TS sometimes .
When he is able to connect, it works perfectly fine, but during certain, random times of the day, he cannot connect because "no reply from server, maybe server is offline, or ts is not running on it." There is no problem with the server at all.
So far, we haven't figured out anything that dis-allows him from joining. I even walked him through setting up manual ip, port forwarding, and triggering, even DMZ hosting but still...it works off and on. Does anybody have a suggestion on what to do next?
