View Full Version : Annoying Teamspeak Issues since Upgrade.

Hello,
I've been using Teamspeak flawlessly for months and months now... Today, I upgraded my old GeForce 2 video card to a GeForce 6600, and now Teamspeak is not working properly at all when I'm in World of Warcraft.

Everything is fine when I am not in the game, but when I do get into the game weird things start happening...

1. Whenever I am indoors in the game, everyone on Teamspeak has an echo to their voice. Though, when I am outside, everyone sounds normal.

2. About 5-10 minutes into playing the game, everyone on the Teamspeak server can't hear me. They tell me it sounds like a ripping static sound whenever I key up my mic.

3. Again, about 5-10 minutes into playing, everyone's voice goes really quiet, to the point where I can't hear them at all.

I have a feeling it has something to do with whatever Teamspeak and World of Warcraft uses... maybe they're sharing the same codec? I'm not too bright when it comes to the detailed stuff, so please excuse my ignorance.

Some information:
AMD Athlon 1700
Soundblaster Live! 1.5
Windows XP (Home) Service Pack 1

I have done everything and anything I can find... I've updated my soundcard drivers, tinkered around with the settings in Teamspeak, and window's audio settings... I've uninstalled and reinstalled Teamspeak too... and it hasn't solved a thing. Any advice that could fix my problems would be very much appreciated.

This is very frustrating, as Teamspeak has worked since I've started using it 5 months ago, but today seeing I got that new video card, Teamspeak has gone screwy on me. Thank you!
