Do you need to enable ports for the client?

Ok, I plan on releasing the IP of my server to my clan soon. I just want to know if you need to open ports to use the client? If so, what ports are they. The same ones as the server? Thanks in advance for all your help.

The firewall usually lets everything pass what the client needs to contact servers, even if the port is different.

The outgoing Port is uncritical for routers. Portforwarding is not needed for client communication.
