wont remember settings

Everytime I do my settings whether it be for my mic or adding a new channel, the next time I open TS everything I just typed will be gone and will revert to the old settings. Can anyone help me with this?

users settings are stored in the user specific file /documents & settings/.../teamspeak.conf (file is HIDDEN !!!). I assume you have write rights to that file ?
Mic: Some program have the nasty habit to change the sound mixer settings.

Server files are stored in the server.dbs. When adding make sure you make them permanent (I guess the server manual describe this).
