I dont know where my thread went...as soon as i posted it didnt show up...saying something about a duplicate thread...:S

ANYWAY

I cannot connect to a specific TS server. I can connect to all others, and mine as well, but not this one. I have tried opening ports etc/ping tests to make sure the IP is correct and working (it is), and not really sure what the problem could be.

I originally thought it was a port issue, but it isnt. I did get a debug log, but dont know what to make of it.

Im not sure, but im thinking its server related. But whatever the problem is, how do you fix it?

Thx

if you only have problems on one specific server, it might be that the connection to this host is unstable, either client or server side (hard to find out). If other users have problems as well to that IP, it smells like a server (connection) problem. Especially if the server is hosted on a home access.

what you can do is:
- try your client in debug mode
if that doesn't help
- try an older client version (they are reported to be les timeout sensitive). You can find them on the FTP server you download the actual client version. If that still doesn't work, you have a serious connection problem to that host. Apart form discussing with your ISP (good luck), I'm out of ideas (allawys assuming that you are the only one having problems on that specific server !).
