Error 10060 please help me

I am a new user of Team speak. My WWIIOL squad is using v1.5.06 so I got their info such as paswword and I.P address. I installed everthing correctly I think or it seemed so. Then when I enter all the information to logg in game an error pops up and says this:

Error 10060
Remote host did not respond ( no computer on other end).

I checked with my other squadies and they are able to access with no problem. Can someone help me out here.

Ts1 cant make a connection to the server. Are you behind a nat server (sharing internet) or using a proxy of some kind?

Or maybe a firewall?

I have XP home edition and I turned off the fire wall. I dont share the internet w/ anyone. XP has different accounts per person but they are all logged off when I try to log on.


What is a proxy? This could be the problem...
Tell me how to fix it if it was a proxy problem. Thanks

I looked under tools and connections and I have no proxy settings set. Also I looked for my firewall option. I turned it off months ago and it s still off.

could there be a difference in my cable connection?
Nic card or the other that looks like a big telephone plug in.

I;m wondering if this my be the problem.
I down loaded a few months ago TS2 but never used it. Does this mean the codes still in my system? If so How do I get rid of them?
ADD/REMOVE programs? Is there another way?

This seems to be a a blockage of some sort in my opinion, I just need to figure it out.

Who ever can help me on this I WILL PAY THEM for their Effort.

Are you using ts1?

If so, are you sure the server you are trying to connect to has a ts1 server?
