First of all, I love this program! I am new to it but I am trying to get it. I have a server set up for our squad with 4 dedicated channels and 2 subs. All seems to work gr8 with 2 exceptions.
1. Sometimes get a screaching noise while transmitting to others. Sender does not hear it, just reciever. This is fixed by closing client, reopening client, testing, then reconnecting and all is well. Several guys experience this from time to time.
2. When I go into game (IL2 Sturmovik) and I am in cockpit, TS2 seems to use the in game sound settings(realistic occlusions and volumetric sounds) and all voices transmitting to me echo. If I change to an outside the plane view, all is well, just not while flying in the plane.
If anyone has any tips on this please let me know.
system: WinXP, ECS K7S5A Mobo, AMD 1700+, 512 CRUCIAL DDR, SB LIVE GAMER w/newest drivers, RADEON 8500 w/new Catalyst drivers, Klipsch 2.1 speakers.
I have a DSL connection that averages 1250/320 and I have had 12 people on server with no probs.:D
