Ok heres the problem...i have the teamspeak server set up...but nobody and myself can get in....why is this? This is the error all the people get when they try get in...i get this error report as well "No reply from the server...Maybe it is offline...or teamspeak isnt running on it"...i will state some of the things i did.

i went to control panel, security center(i am running Windows XP), then Windows Firewall and turned it off...why is it still not working? i have my Norton Internet Security set to Low so i can access the adminstration page...i use the Global IP address for myself and others use it too.

Point: 2, 3, 6, 7, 8

More information.
I hope you use the LAN IP in your Network because most cheap routers doesn't support WAN IP's in the LAN.(Point 7 of the FAQ).
Also make sure that the firewall don't blocks teamspeak.
And if it doesn't help. Activate the Debug-Mode of your client and post the TSClient.log here.

No I can't. Go to your Routermenu and look for a section like: vitual servers or port forwarding.
Than type in your LAN IP your Port 8767 and your Protocol UDP. Thats all.
And also this is a teamspeak and not a router forum.
And how should I make a step by step guide when you didn't gave me the manufractur or modell name of your router?

the FAQ links to several Port forwarding help pages in the web. Pls visit one of them, this here is not a "how do I configure my specific router" Forum. Port forwarding is not TS related ;)

turned on:
- your PC
- your properly configured wan access device (router, modem, or what ever you have)
- depending on your security needs: firewall (properly configured)
- your TS Server & probably your client as well

turned off:
