Im trying to figure this out but it wont work... any help... ? The threads im reading arnt helping...

What exactly do I type? Do i type telnet.exe before the IP?
Is it
12.121.12.121:51234
12.121.121.121 51234
telnet.exe 121.12.45.254. 51234
telnet.exe 12.121.12.121:51234

Is any of that correct? Ips are just examples. WOuld a firewall interferr or something? My router?

I just got some help on this on thread:

the syntax is as follows:

telnet [ip address] [port]

Example:

C:\>telnet 192.168.0.1 51234

You can also use the /? to get additional info on that paticular command.

And remeber, to use any .exe or .com program you only need to try the the program name, not the extension. DOS is fun like that.

there are survel of programmas create that connect to telnet take a loke in the Thrid Appi treads on this forum maybe you get some helpfull stuff
