Hoping someone can help me out.
Here's the scenario. For around 10 months i ran a multiple server ts setup perfectly successfully on a Windows 2k3 Server box. Noone had problems connecting, i could connect either using the WAN IP or my local IP.It ran perfectly happy with interruptions only happening when i rebooted the machine.
In the last couple of months though it's all of a sudden stopped acepting WAN connections. At first it was intermittently...then they just stopped being accepted. Now nothing has changed in my port forwarding set up. I have no software firewalls inside my router and the default windows one has always been disabled. I have since totally unistalled TS Server from the machine and reinstalled it. I have reset my router, upgraded it's firmware (NB 5580) re-setup all the port forwarding correctly. I have read the FAQ's and followed the instructions on how to set the server up.
I have also been to http://ts2test.planetteamspeak.com/ and run the test there yielding these results:
The connection test finished without errors!
UDP test details
The UDP connection test could establish a connection to your TeamSpeak 2 server.
TCP test details
The TCP connection test could establish a connection to your TeamSpeak 2 server.
HTTP test details
The HTTP connection test could establish a connection to your TeamSpeak 2 server.
The above results show that the appropriate ports are opened and i know the TS server is sitting there running (i am next to it looking at it). I personally can connect to the TS server using the either the WAN IP or the LAN IP of the server from my main use pc, but other people trying to connect through the WAN IP cannot.
My NAT'ing to the internal IP of the server machine is also as it should be (as evidenced by the fact it worked for close to a year). I am at a loss as to why it would stop working and about all i can think of is to wipe the pc and try again - a pain to do but i will if i have to. I am also going to try running a server off my other (main use) pc and see if i can get that working.
I would appreciate help and further suggestions on how to correct this.
