Hello, I am new to this program and I really like it. I was getting to know people and flying and talking without any problems till today. I have a new computer as well as a new headset to talk. Today I was booted and muted for reasons I don.t know. Someone said my mike was causing them problems. Instead of rudely kicking me out....someone could have helped me fix the problem (if it was me). I have been flying for a few days now with no problems. Someone help me please? Thank You Phil

A NVidia Geforce 6800 is a graphics card, not a sound card.

Make sure you are set for Push To Talk instead of voice activation. You can find this in "Settings -> Sound Input/Output Settings. Select Push To Talk and set a key for it. Then when you want to talk you just hit that key ingame and release when you are done.

If you are deadset on using voice activation though, move the slider in the same section as above, over more towards shout. Sometimes what happens is your Voice activation can be set to low and it transmits all the time. This can cause a static sound for everyone in that channel, and it might be picking up other stuff running like your TV sounds or music you might have playing.

Not sure if that is what the problem is, but might be something you want to check out.
