Look at the magazine. The seller forced the magazine in backwards. Just as in the real one you will receive heavy resistance if you try that.
The fact that he tried and succeeded it tells me three things:
#1: He doesn't have a clue and he can't figure out things by "combining the parts that fit together"
#2: If it doesn't fit make it so
#3: The magazine well of this toy gun is probably cracked now because it is made of plastic
