View Full Version : Whisper to Chan. Commander. (Heard by all)

I have TS2 and i am a member of 21CW. (www.21stcenturywarfare.com)

I use whisper to channel commander alot but i have noticed that i cant use it without everybody in the same channel hearing me talking. (Non commanders)

This is a big problem for me.

Now i know what you are thinking, i have set up my keys in the wrong way but i have double checked, triple checked and then checked some more.

Here is the main problem though.
I use voice activation because i cant spare any fingers for communicating with my squad.
I think the problem is connected to just voice activation, when i talk i transmit to the channel by default and eaven if i hold my whisper button i transmit to the whole channel and commander at the same time.

I dont want anyone else but the chan commanders to hear what i say and i must use voice activation at the same time...

HELP PLEASE!

Can anyone confirm that voice activation transmits to the same channel eaven though i use a whisper?

if you set up you keyz correct you got no problems check it 3 times or set them up speak to a player everyone can get channel commander status by him self

When you use voice activation, you canīt avoid to speak to your hole channel. Whisper does not deactivate the voice activation.
If you want to manage it, use push to talk, thereīs no other way to do it. Sorry.

I will have to solve it somehow.

Maybe by switching to push to talk on one keystroke and at the same time whisper with the same key...

Only Channel Admins can obtain channel commander status in 21CW.

If ppt and "whisper to" is on the same key, the result will be the same as before, youīll talk to the channel and whisper to others (commander, squadleader...).
