Whenever I go to download the client, I get an error saying:

ts2_client_rc2_2032.exe

No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
Probably the service is inactive on the server or you have a fireswall installed that blocks IDM.
If you have a firewall, please ensure that its settings allow IDM downloading from the internet.

Details:
Cannot connect to ftp.freenet.de:21

I cannot see anything on either of my firewalls blocking IDM. Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance, memorex2

Error 10061 is an active refusal. It would seem that the server doesn't like you (or rather your IP address range).

And no, there's only one language version for Teamspeak and that would be English.

Haha, that download site simply redirects you to the same download location that the Teamspeak website uses.
Try this: http://www.come2play.org/dload.php?action=file&file_id=7

Teamspeak is allways in English. Teamspeak is only in English.

Would it be possible for an admin to send me the setup files through MSN messenger?

In google you will find 1000 sources of teamspeak. And everything is ok with it. No corrupt files. But be carefull no guaranty with download from other sources. It can be a virus or something in it.

You can trust me: The file on clanbase has got no virus! I have tested it.
Which Virus Programm do you use? Mcaffe?
Which file the Virus Programm show you: keypress.dll?
Do a search in the forum and read that the keypress.dll contain no virus.

I use Norton and Windows. All I know is that I got an error message when I was running the setup files and at the exact same time Norton said it found a Trojan Horse being executed out of an internal location.

Anyway, I have managed to get TS from a squad website (LS) and now I cant connect  . I have checked and Norton is allowing TS acces but it is monitering it.

Maybe the Server is offline.
Can you connect to the teamspeak public: voice.teamspeak.org
Activate the debugmode of teamspeak and post your TSClient.log

Something blocking Teamspeak?
NAT, Firewall???

Go to the options of Teamspeak and activate the Debugmode then connect to the server again. If it doesn't work post the TSClient.log from your Teamspeak Directory here.

Could it be that rather than blocking the program a firewall is blocking a port the program needs?

Maybe. Something blocks teamspeak i think. Teamspeak normal uses port 8767 UDP.

But can you make a ping or a tracert on the teamspeak public server?

memorex2
18-10-2005, 15:39
Test this server teamspeak://voice.teamspeak.org

Clicked on to your link.

Norton notifies C:\...\Teamspeak2_RC2\TeamSpeak.exe is preparing to acces the internet.

'Error' over speakers and TS says:

[15:36:24] Connecting to voice.teamspeak.org
[15:36:28] No reply from server
Maybe the server is offline
or maybe teamspeak is not running on it

No later log from norton.

This looks like a blocked prt, as it prepares but doesn't acctually acces the internet...?

Maybe you must allow in teamspeak in the norton settings. It looks like norten blocks the teamspeak access. Deactivate norten and test it again.

Just tried it on the admin account and it let it acces the public server with Norton on

memorex2
19-10-2005, 11:05
Found the problem! While monitering TS's connections, Norton was delaying acces to the internet while logging the action. This caused TS to timeout and cancel. I gave TS full rights and it now works fine. :)
