What causes this? :(

It is caused by a number being divided by zero.

I know that :( but why is it doing that and then locking up? :(

I don't know. Leprechaun mischievousness?

You're rather unspecific. Perhaps enabling the logging function and posting the log will provide more insight into the problem.

How do I enable the logging?

I have Windows XP Media Edition
I currently run a TS server with out any issue. It is only the client that has the issue. It starts up, connects for about 5 seconds and then pops the error. I was kinda hoping that this was a common issue and could be fixed by just changing something. I have a Sound Blaster sound card. I have reinstalled twice without any success :(

Add a -d at the end of the target line for your TS2 client link. This puts the client into debug mode and writes a lot of information into the log file (tsclient.log).
