This error pops up with a few people in my fleet, I don't use a server pw. And tried the various settings you can change.

I've also made sure we tried doing a no firewall connect on both sides.

Using the .31 version of the server on a Windows XP machine using Zonealarm pro. No router.

And made sure they were using the
.27 client.

Any ideas?

I've already run it fresh install and with no firewall installed.

Make sure you clicked the anonymous radio button in the connect dialog

Hmm.. and you are sure that all the people who have the connect problem do have anonymous checked? Also dont enter anything for password or loginname (clientside).... server ip and name should be the only fields filled out.

Double checked on that.

Even had them setup a server on this side and I could connect to them from my rig.
