I had the same problem after i manually edited the server's ini file. Now i know it's better to leave the ini file alone. After you installed the server and ran it 1 time to get the admin pass, you must login with the website and then you can edit all settings. If you want to create channels you must login with the TS2 client on your server as an admin, then you can create channels and make them registered channels, so they don't disappear when the last user leaves them. Just delete all files in your server folder and reïnstall the server, run it 1 time and login via the website. If this don't work i wouldn't know what is causing your problem.

delete your Server.ini,Server.db,server.log and restart your server. Stop your sever after starting it. Check your log for the admin info. Then go straight to your browser and log into your admin page, change the info from there. If you cannot seem to do this, I would try un-installing the whole thing again. Then re-installing it again. If this does not work..GOOD LUCK:D

I did as you suggested several times, though I did not del the server.db. This time I did that also... same result... It goes right back to the login screen... I am about ready to scream! A long time ago I was able to login as admin... one of the previous versions. But not this one or the last one.
ARRRRRRRRGGG!
i have exactly the same problem.
first i installed the current version of teamspeak linux server, everything worked well. then i edites server.ini to display a custom welcome message and everything was ok.
then i connected to my server from my windoze pc, logged in as admin and talked to a friend and everything was ok.
then i started to create channels. it worked, everything was ok.
then i got curious and tried to de-admin myself, which worked.
from now on i had exactly the same problem as described above. admin login with the ts client wouldn't work, neither the web interface login.
np i thought, ts seems to keep all info in its own little subdirectory. or so i thought.
so i stopped the server, razed the tss2 directory, extracted it from the tar archive again, started the server, stopped the server, noted the password, started the server again, went to the web interface page, entered admin + password, clicked the only entry in the list, clicked "login" and was thrown back to a clear login page.
appearantly i have permanently de-admined "admin".
i completely reinstalled the server. that means it must keep records somewhere else. question is: where?
tss2 programmers: please help!

To Brain:
I believe the de-admin has something to do with it. The admin for one of the TS2 servers I run (I run 2 using the same TS2 server process) de-admined herself and ever since then I can only log-in as the super server admin. None of the admins for any of the 2 servers can log-in, even new ones I create. The can all log-in from the TS2 client and get admin priv. there. I know this did not occur with the previous server version I was running. The thread, "No Web Admin log-in after 2.0.18.31 Win Server Update," a few down from this one in the main list of posts, details my problem. Look for some replies there.
i already did. surprisingly even completely reinstalling the linux server version (that means, razing the directory and extracting from the tar again) and razing the windoze client didn't change a thing. i'd think everything should be like it was first.
also, it's not a client thing. i gave the server admin password to a friend and told him to log in and he couldn't do that either
you know, i've tried everything that everybody has suggested in here...NOTHING F***IN WORKS! i don't know what the hell happened here, but it really sucks. and it seems that your "support" is more than neglegable - i mean, who in their right minds has a support forums where they don't give support? i need to depend on others with the same problems for help? obviously, the problem is rampant, meaning that it's not a dumbass here and there, it's a problem. plan on fixing it any time soon? I REALLY LOVED MY TEAMSPEAK and i want it back...please give some real help guys, its just a simple courtesy.

I think you need to calm down. You are expecting full support in your time for a product you haven't done anything to support yourself. It's a free product and with that comes limits compared with paid product support.
Now in my case and I believe in yours people can connect to the server from the client, but the ability for admins to log-in at the web interface is disabled.
So in the end, I think you are in pretty good shape for a pre-release version of a product. If it was 100% feature complete and as bug free as is reasonable by todays standards, it wouldn't be called an RC1 version.
I just noticed this
http://www.teamspeak.org/forums/showthread.php?threadid=2791
Are you running a pop-up killer? (Or a firewall with that feature)
Jim
Click on the server config file below the login and PW, then it will log in as admin...

To Vulcan:
Thanks for the help, but that is not the problem, at least it's not my problem. Also, I believe that someone posted that suggestion on this thread for the one who created it and he said he was doing that. In my case I can log-in to both of my servers hosted by the teamspeak server program using the super server admin. It's the regular admins that cannog in. In fact if I enable super server admin on the regular admins or current non-admin users, they can log-in.
However, all of my users can log-in via the teamspeak client and my admins get admin privs. there. I the web admin interface that seems to get a problem if an admin users de-admins him/herself and it only started with the current version.
cminchrist, dont talk down to me like im an idiot. i understand what an RC is, but the simple fact that they dont do anything themselves is a little unnerving. their "support" is a forum of other users with the same problems, and that is unsat...period.
i'm just asking for a little support from the makers. and only having 11 posts with 3 already in this thread means you are just as much the non-supporter yourself. now in my case, unlike yours, nobody can connect, so...i'm no stranger to software, but i'm by no means a programmer, so code is foreign to me. i can't open the files up and figure out whats wrong and tell you how to fix. i just want it working again. if you have a problem with me being irked because software release x works and release y does not, then you can kiss my ass. i dont sugar-coat anything, and i dont expect anything to be sugar-coated...i want answers and its that simple. if you dont have em, ignore me and move on. no need to get into a pissing contest.

PsiNyde, I wasn't in a contest, just telling the facts. Bottom line is they will fix it in their own time. If you don't like, go PAY for something better or write it on your own, but don't complain about something free, esp. when it's not a final release.
The support forums here are a place where you post problems and wish lists, not your attitudes. In the end, I guess jerks are jerks no matter what, so take your own advice and pass up posts that you don't like until you can deal with things in life a little better than a child.
