I haven't been able to log onto TS yet. I always receive this error.
I have disable my windows firewall and allowed certain access to them as well. However, nothing seems to work.
Help~
Thanks for your time.

What do you mean certain acces? My TS wouldnt work until I gave it full access rights. It woulddnt even work on monitered, which means allow everything but log it.

This error is a message when you want to connect with an older client on newer server. But also is often seen when there is also a firewall or something blocking the teamspeak client.

The server in newer - others are on it with this newer version.
I have disabled my FW before and that did not fix the error.

Thanks for any help in adv.
i know a couple people with the same problem including myself that within the last 2 or 3 days alot of us cannot connect to any TS servers, we're all from different locations in the US and are all on different ISPs and connecting to different TS servers and some the same.. but the end result is the same no one can connect to any TS servers. i think there is a bigger problem then just "Check the faq" since all of us have been using TS from the 1st official release and most of the guys i play with including me are IT admins for a large company, we've been scratching our heads and trying everything to get a connection to any server including the public ones hosted by teamspeak.
any help would be great!
Info:
Router Dlink- this PC on DMZ and Firewall configured for TS
Firewall: allows TS TCP/UDP (same as router)
OS: XP Pro SP2 (up to date)
TS: 2.0.32.60
tried:
Removed router from network
disabled all anti-virus and firewalls
clear the dns cache
ping servers -pings were fine
up-to-date sound card drivers
trace route was fine
no changes what so ever were made to the system or network the day before the problem started. hope this helps
ok played with it more today ran a netstat before and during the connection to the servers and when i try to connect to any server i always show this in my netstat
213.202.254.116.unitedcolo.de:http
when you go the unitedcolo.de it is a game and webserver company.
EDIT: Nevermind looks like that is where you grab the master server list
