Alright, first of all, I have done all recommended settings. I have my playback for my microphone set to mute. I am using well shielded headphones. I have tried both Wave and DirectSound playback in TS2 all to no avail. Only my microphone is set to record in sound properties. I have done everything.

I still can hear what I say delayed by about a half second to a second. How the hell can I rectify this?

I have an Audigy 2 ZS sound card. I have tried different microphones and headphones with the same result.

What might I be missing?

Thanks!

check your soundproperties for "playback" volume control:

--> LOOK step 1

set volume control like in the pic -->

I stated that I had already done all that to no avail. I have all these settings as suggested in the forums and in the FAQ but still have echos.

Well, it seems odd. I can hear my delayed response the same time that other people on TS do. I wonder if their mic is picking up my voice on their headset? That seems odd, but maybe so. I still can't figure it out.

As slight echo is caused if other players use Desktoploudspeakers instaed of a headset.
I notice it sometimes on my TS. You canīt prevent that, maybe you could suggest them to use push to talk or to use headset.... .

He uses a headset. And we use push-to-talk. Still echo.
