Would it be possible make a radio codec to Flight Sims Comms? Like this: http://www.iberworld-va.org/ptla/radioIVAO.zip

What you need is a set of equalizer settings that voice changer software offers. One of the most powerfull voicechangers out there is "AV Voice Changer Software". As there are new even more powerfull versions like "Diamond" and "Gold" now, the standard edition is relatively cheap ($ 29,95 at the time of writing). It offers a standard "radio" effect and a powerfull equalizer.

As your request is very "special", I guess that this new "codec" won't even make it into TeamSpeak 3.

Another option is to buy a cheap pair of walkie-talkies. Most of them have earphones output you could use with the line in jack of your soundcard. I use PMR devices to run a short range radio gateway.

I already knew audio4fun and its software, but it would be more useful as a TS codec. I could make it, if I knew how. I think it would be more useful. :) Because you would have channels with normal codec (f.e.: 16 speex) to simulate real meeting to do briefing, and then channels to simulate real radio when you are in the airplane or in the fighter. :-)

A radio codec would be great for all of us using teamspeak when flying online with IVAO. The VATSIM voice client "squawkbox" has this feature built in.

Edit: And it sounds great! :)
