hi, i was wondering if it is possible to change the rights that unregistered players have, so that i can stop them from being able to whisper to people in other channels, this is my main concern as it appears that even when you ban some players, they are able to reconnect immediatley, this results in my clan members changing channel, but they then cross channel whisper and it is getting very annoying, so can you please explain how to admin the rights of people on the server
i am aware of the basics of how to run and admin ts2, but want to know how to change the permissions of the different groups (anonymous, unregistered, voiced, operator, channel admin and server admin)
thx

No, the permission system does not allow restrictions on "whisper to..".
But you can disengage that by "block whisper by default".
Goto TS menu "settings" -> options -> other "block whisper by default"

sorry for the delay, yes i understand that i can block whispers by default, but if we are in a Call Of Duty Match, where we need our whispers for commiunication then it is not ideal
also, why is it that some players canot be banned? i did ask this in the 1st post but i still havnt figured out why it is
u ban them, they are kicked, they rejoin....and repeat

They might get a new IP if they reconnect their router... .
So, if you ban someoneīs IP (e.g. 123.234.123.234) he just needs a new and he can connect.
Use a wildcard ban like: 123.234.*.* then he canīt do anything.
Itīs badluck if someone uses the same provider, cause the first 2 numbers donīt change... .

but wouldnt that involve them diconnecting and reconnecting their internet connection, to change their IP, because these people leave and rejoin in less than a second

Donīt know how they manage ... maybe they use a proxy for anonymous surfinī.
try the wildcard ban...
