i was wondering if you could auto set Channel Comander status to certain registered players.

our guild uses this as "Officer chat" so we can still listen to normal chat.

is there any way to do this??

There´s no way known to me.

Just click your name and set "channel commander" or click your name and press:
ALT + "S" then "C".

Not bossible ATM. Custom Usergroups and a much more flexible permission system are planned for TeamSpeak 3. As ChannelCommander is a client side status like "away", there is no way to let the server control this status. This functuality might or might not be part of TeamSpeak 3.

Stay tuned.

Is it possible in TS2 to make someone a channel commander on the fly (by the query commands)?

If not, is this possible in TS3?

What I am trying to do is make Teamspeak behave like BF2's ingame VOIP. I would make squad leaders and the commander channel commanders on the fly so they can communicate, but have everyone in their proper squad subchannels.

Let me know,
