For some reason and suddenly (since 24/10/05) I cannot connect to my guild's Teamspeak server. Recently I've tried to connect to the public teamspeak server - teamspeak://voice.teamspeak.org - and it works perfectly fine. I can speak and here people chating on that server. I've also connected to serveral other random addresses (for TS) that are used by people/guilds and there is no issue there. I just can't connect to 83:142.26:90 server....yet alone the port number definately

I've spoken to my guild master and he's personnally tried to help me, we spent a long time trying to resolve the issue.

I've noticed that I'm not the only one to have this issue with teamspeak as u can see from this link:
http://forum.goteamspeak.com/showthread.php?t=6418

But then again....how valid is this related to my problem...I think its closely valid....or maybe I'm wrong

Has anyone else had similar problems with teamspeak and was able to fix this issue or is it a server problem.

By the way....I spent about 4 hours reading all the posts on the teamspeak forum .....my firewall is turned off, my computer connects directly to the interenet and I have admin privilleges on my computer (WinXP Sp2). I've not installed anything on my computer for ages except for WoW patches.

I live in Duabi - UAE (country).

cheers and thanks

If you can connect without problems to the publics and other servers. The porblem is at the server side. Is this server a rented server or home server.
In the last time people had only problems to connect to any server with problems. But if you can't connect to this 1 server i think there is no problem with firewalls or something else.

hmmm....Its a commercial server so that you must pay a fee for its services.

Majority of the members in my guild (living in other country) don't seem to have any problems connecting to it. And like you said, I don't think the country is the issue, as am able to connect to other TS servicers including the public TS.

Thanks.

Then the Admin of the Server should contact the Hoster with this problem.
Maybe it's a network problem or something. But if you can connect to the teamspeak publics and other servers this problem must be at the server side.
