Alright I have searched throughout this forum, and google, and the TeamSpeak website, and I can't find any help in installing TeamSpeak Server Linux on a webserver without SSH access.

Unfortunately I do not have SSH access to my server, and I'm trying to try teamspeak. I have tried using php scripts to run "./teamspeak2-server_startscript start" and it runs, but then I can't find the tsserver2.pid, which of course means it hasn't run. Also when I run ps -f I don't see the process, so I'm sure its not running correctly. I have tried running "./server_linux" but that process doesn't seem to run either.

The permissions I believe are set correctly. Any help out there to get me rolling?

A few webhosters allow you to start certain shell scripts on their server but it's impossible to start a TeamSpeak 2 server without access to your servers console.

*sniffle* - alas I am stuck then.

Of course I then tried it on my college's "personal home page" site that I could ssh into, and it couldn't run binary files, go figure.

You can always just buy a Virtual server from a hosting company which allows you to have ROOT access and do what ever you want to the server.

Gimme an email if your interested, I have a few spaces in mind that can help you out cheap.
