It's so annoying having people on teamspeak who speak so f*cking loud and refusing to turn thier mic down or don't know how!
Then you turn your sound down and can't hear some people!
Is this ever gonna be in teamspeak???

Read my post on this page. If you are lazy, here it is.

The more people asking for it, the higher the chance of it being acknowledged.

I know, since TS is much better than all the rest.
Im affraid there is little chance for implementing such cause it's already implemented... or wait... is it not?
From features list : "Auto voice normalizing (no need to adjust your mic manually)"
Hahaha!
I imagine that this would work on the client side to increase input volume when it is too low or decrease when it is too loud, dynamically.
But... there is no input volume control in TS not even the basic(static +/- x dB) one, and that is real pain for those having too low input signal despite maximum driver cotrol volume. I had it with USB headset that had no volume setting possible at all.
I wonder where i can find out what that feature quoted above is about. And where it is. I love Teamspeak while hating their creators for having the same undeveloped client for over a year now... maybe longer, IIRC the last changes... what changes? no , not that .dll... i can't remember ...ehhh
I run a few more searches on the forum maybe i can find out what justifies the mysterious volume normalizing presence in feature list.

Yeah, they have stuck with this outdated version for more than 2 years... It's desperately in need of an upgrade.
well, They could atleast leave it in as an option.
What would that hurt?

As a TeamSpeak server admin now for over 3 years I feel I have a bit of experience with the program. Please add a simple volume control for each member in a room. This is a simple request as all the other voice chat programs offer this option except for TeamSpeak. We have several clan members whose volumes vary way too much to control otherwise. It's either someone has a new mic, someone has an old mic, someone has analog, someone has USB, and Windows mic settings don't always stick through a reboot. Please add a TeamSpeak Mixer. And please make it so TS remembers each players settings so it's not necessary to set it upon each re-entry to a room.
Thank you.

This woudl be great, but probably is too advanced for teh TS devs. IT may not even be released.
Just hold on for a little while. They are probably too busy working on TS3 now to mess with TS2. I think if it came down to either: TS2 getting one more little improvement and putting back TS3 OR just getting TS3 a few days earlier and dealing with TS2 th way it is, then I think I would choose: Wait for TS3.
Hey SuperTyphoon, In reference to you other thread (which was locked), you said Allowing registered peopel to send a text message to the entire channel.
Anyone can send text to other channels. But your administrators have to enable it first.
Also, there is already a really long and old thread about requests for features in TS3 here:http://forum.goteamspeak.com/showthread.php?t=17831&highlight=ts3+wishlist.

They better put this in otherwise i will stop using TS and use something else. Just a friendly reminder.
TeamSpeak has thousands of users. Nobody cares if you use it or not. You did not pay for this software, did you? So you have no right to demand a special feature.

But i do have the right to give my opinion and request a feature that EVERYONE wants. Am i wrong?

Sure, nobody has a problem with you voicing your opinion. The problem lies in the way you voice it. You don't say something like "please could you add FOO and BAR because we need it to do X", you say "You had better add FOO and BAR, or I will hold my breath and leave the toilet seat up!".
You simply aren't in a position to demand things like this from the developers, so be civil and you wont be shot down like this. Oh and besides, it's not like this hasn't ever been suggested before, I remember myself answering such a request with my thoughts on it.
