Today I installed directx 9. Fired up TS2 tonight and was unable to transmit. I can hear everyone talking. My mics not muted. Is there a compatibility issue with the 2?

I installed DirectX 9 (final), and I haven't noticed any problems. What OS are you using? I'm using XP.

runs fine with win2k server when you reply with OS please report sound card also

Works Fine for me (DX9/Win2KPro/Audigy)
after launching ts2 check in your mixer if you mic is still selected as recording source.
i noticed after installing dx9 that although my mic is selected as input source before i start teamspeak it is not selected any more after teamspeak is started up. instead recording source is my soundcard's mixer output. simply opening the mixer and selecting the mic again fixes the problem.
No issues here.

Make sure you select DirectSound in TS. Mine did get changed somehow. Though it may have been when I changed drivers.
